Fiery Darts

This is a bulky weight, 2-ply handspun yarn featuring a unique blend Alpaca, Bluefaced Leicester, Mohair, Silk Thrums, Tussah Silk and Angelina (sparkle fiber). The colors are very rich in nature: deep blood red, jet black, an off-white color and plenty of sparkle. It is very lofty and squishy and would make a great accent (weft) yarn for handwoven items. It has some thick sections and thinner sections and overall has a very rustic, organic look.
 
If this is your first time using handspun, welcome, welcome, welcome! Each handspun yarn is completely unique, one of a kind. Unlike commercial yarn, handspun yarn is not meant to be perfect. However, it is definitely made with lots of love and great care. There is a lot of thought, labor, and planning that goes into each stage of making yarn. I take pride in creating handspun yarn that I personally love using, and it is a complete joy to share some of my creations with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!
